Google’s hidden math

If you look hard enough, you will find the hidden math behind Google. Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Google’s founders, had math teachers as parents. Sergey Brin also interned at Wolfram Research which was founded by Stephen Wolfram, a math prodigy who created Mathematica.
Some of the hidden math is a little obvious. In 2005, Google released additional shares of Google stock with the number of shares sold at 14,159,265 which happens to be eight digits beyond the decimal point in Pi. Google also has been known in the past to use math oriented recruitement techniques.
Google is based on the underlying mathematical success of its search algorithm. When it comes down to it, your web page is reduced to a series of numerical factors that are summed up in Google’s Page Rank. Understand that and you realize that numbers can be manipulated and web pages as well because of the hidden math behind them.
